The Gelson's Encino Property - Ventura & Hayvenhurst in Encino, California
When the long term lease on the flagship Encino location of Gelson’s Market came up for renewal, the Gelson Family wanted to know the best way to increase the value of the property consistent with their investment objectives (Gelson’s Markets is now owned by The Arden Group, but the Gelson family retains ownership of the land). WRA worked together with the family and their real estate attorney to decide on a real estate strategy. The family decided to re-lease the property and WRA direcltly marketed it to major retail and grocery tenants and handled the lease negotiations, significantly increasing the value of the property.
